Hope & Home was created as an alternative to regular foster care. Founded and supported through the Christian community, we embrace foster-parents with an unusually high level of expertise and community support. We have state-of-the-art visitation and community centers, after-school tutoring programs, H&H University, and our “500-Club” of more than 500 financial donors and supporters who actively fund, and run, our “Summers-O’-Fun”, fashion shows, support groups, teen-nights, holiday celebrations and more! We’re a family-run agency led by Ross Wright, author of “Kids in Crisis,” and his wife, Bridgette. We’re the only agency in the state to feature the “Love-to-Nurture” treatment model. Our Clinical Director, Marie Schroeder, MSW, combines 25-years of experience with enthusiasm and passion. Hope & Home maintains a high standard of care and is very selective in its recruitment of families. A family recently described us, saying, “It’s the hardest agency to get into, the toughest to graduate from, but when you’re done, you know you’re ready!” Visit our monthly “Champions-of-Tomorrow” featuring the “Gallery-of-Hope.” Call Bridgette at 719-575-9887.

Kids Resource Network is a nonprofit Child Placement Agency that was established in 1985 by child advocates, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1997. We help to create nurturing and safe homes for children throughout the community. We pride ourselves in having a slow growth rate so we can ensure the best possible support for the children, foster parents, and biological parents we serve. We look for potential foster and foster/adopt homes that have the patience, love, and a family-focused approach to help the children in our care. Our goal is family reunification—but, when that is not an option, we look for a home that best suits the needs of the children and the families we serve. Our foster parents truly are The Exception! For more information on how you can help children in our community, please call (719) 227-7477.
